i'm kinda clueless
in the calendar business
i dunno what day it is
i'm less tough
misplaced my confidence
so rest up, end of the subway line
i'm far from home but i'm still online
can't seem to connect, again
misplaced my confidence
i think that i've got my maps now
colours and laminated labels
i'm constantly adjusting to an attitude like
what if there's just something so much bigger than this?
not so many days left in the week
didn't do anything productive all day
everytime i'm upstairs watching TV
i feel a bit better about that part of me
i dont wanna be alone in a stereo cave
need to be out there on the radio waves
hum a tune to the static of a neon dream
feel just as alive as if i were 18
take a walk in the empty streets of not home
but out there it doesn't feel like i'm all alone
